1/17 – 2025 Ice and Oyster Fest Kick-off

The 2025 Cambridge Ice and Oyster Festival will kick-off Friday, January 17th at 5:00 pm with activities at three locations.

At the Packing House there will live music, ice carving demonstrations, interactive ice sculptures, drinks for adults and children, oysters, fire pits, s’mores, and food from local caterers.

At the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort and Spa there will a Synthetic Ice Skating Rink and Winter Village featuring refreshment stations including a hot chocolate station and cocktail bar, along with fire pit stations for s’mores roasting and shopping from local vendors.

The Downtown Cambridge location will feature ice sculptures for viewing and interaction, including, back by popular demand, the Ice Slide that is sponsored by the Hyatt.
There will be a shuttle running between all three locations, so you can park once and enjoy all three.

1/17 – Toddler Time at Sultana – Oh Deer!

Come join us for Toddler Time at 10:30 am at the Holt Education Center.
This is a free drop in program for kids ages 5 and under.
Toddler Time lets children explore the natural world through stories, songs, games, crafts, and interactions with wildlife – all led by SEF’s professional staff. Come prepared for a wild time – this is a popular program!

No pre-registration is required. Adults must stay for the program and are encouraged to help children participate in activities.

1/18 – Silent Music Festival with Clone Hero (8 yrs – Adult)

Ages: 8 yrs- Adult
Music festivals don’t only have to happen in giant stadiums or in deserts in California! This one takes place in the library, and you won’t even hear it… Ask us to take a turn playing Clone Hero at the desk! With a pair of headphones, and a video game controller instrument, you will be playing along to a catalog of over a thousand songs! Choose between keyboard or guitar and rock! No music experience required.

1/18 – KIHS Art Society Winter Book & Craft (6-10yrs)

Ages: 6-10
Join the Kent Island High School National Art Society Students for a wintery storytime, then create a seasonal paper art scene!
