2/14 – 2/15: Chesapeake Fire and Ice Festival in Downtown Easton

Enjoy a free self-guided tour of the beautifully designed ice sculptures in downtown Easton, as well as live music, entertainment, and other fun events!

Chesapeake Fire & Ice will feature dozens of ice sculptures spread throughout Easton’s historic district. Downtown will morph into a vibrant winter wonderland perfect for strolling and taking pictures with amazing icy art from the carvers at Icelab and music filling the streets. There will be two live carvings this year, one on each day of the festival, and every icy piece of art will be outside and easy to view with a stroll through town!

The festivities continue all weekend with opportunities to tour the ice sculptures. Events will include an activity-filled Fire Trail, family fun events, free outdoor ice skating sponsored by Bluepoint Hospitality, Children’s Icehouse at the Waterfowl Building, entertainment, seasonal sales, shopping, restaurant specials, lodging specials, and more!

2/14 – Toddler Time – Love Bugs at Sultana in Chestertown

Come join us for Toddler Time at 10:30 am at the Holt Education Center. This is a free drop in program for kids ages 5 and under. Toddler Time lets children explore the natural world through stories, songs, games, crafts, and interactions with wildlife – all led by SEF’s professional staff. Come prepared for a wild time – this is a popular program!

No pre-registration is required. Adults must stay for the program and are encouraged to help children participate in activities.

2/15 – Cupid’s Bark Crawl in Stevensville

Looking for love in all the wrong places & for paw-some fun?

Come get shot by cupid’s arrow at the Cupid’s Crawl.

El Jefe and Cult Classic are teaming up with Chesapeake Cats & Dogs, and we’re gonna help you find true love from someone that would never judge you. Wear some red or pink, or whatever you want actually (sadly pants are required by law).

Enjoy the Kissing Booth at El Jefe where you can smooch a pooch and ladies can find their future tramps.

Friendly Furry Friends will be allowed in EL Jefe’s Lounge area where you can enjoy specialty cocktails and activities!

There is no admission fee, no cover, just you, your furry friend and an open heart. If you choose to make a $5 donation or drop off pet supplies, you’ll get a wristband for discount pricing good at El Jefe starting at 4pm or Cult Classic starting at 6:30pm.

2/19 – Read To Rover (5-10 yrs) at the KI Library

Ages 5-10. Read to a dog from the Delmarva Chapter of Pets on Wheels! Research shows that reading to an animal helps children gain confidence and improve reading skills.

2/20 – Martin Luther King Jr. VR Documentary (All Ages) in Centreville

Celebrate the legacy and message of Martin Luther King Jr. by viewing the VR documentary MLK : Now Is The Time. The documentary features excerpts from King’s speeches and covers issues he spoke about during his life.
