Meet Chrissie Palmatier

Owner of Shore Kids Adventures

I’m Chrissie, the proud owner of Shore Kids Adventures! I grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland, but life has taken me all over the East Coast. I’ve moved six times, from Pennsylvania to Virginia to Maine, back to Virginia, back to Pennsylvania and FINALLY back home in Maryland.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Penn State University and have over 20 years of experience in graphic design and marketing for events, nonprofit organizations and small businesses, including my own. I also run The Everblooming Home, an online shop where I sell handmade calendars, planners, and printables for families—and I’m proud to say I’m a top 3% seller on Etsy! Now, with two sweet and spicy daughters keeping me on my toes, I couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter.

Moving to Centreville in 2018 really opened my eyes to how difficult it can be finding kid-friendly and family-oriented activities on this side of the Bay Bridge. As someone who has relocated many times, I know how lonely, isolating and difficult it can be to find your people when moving to brand a new town and also how important it is to have a sense of community and belonging for both adults and children.

The idea of bringing people together and creating this hyper local family activity site has been a dream of mine for years and I’m so excited to finally bring it to life for you, my neighbors!
